Feel fuzzy and lovelie in a 1-of-a-kind upcycled piece of wearable art!

FrevrFuzz is a collaborative beautification process with existence. I source as much upcycled material as possible — working with what’s available and intriguing — which leads to unique and organically created final pieces.

I usually marinate on a piece of clothing that i've scooped and begin creating when there's a magnetic vision ~~~ visions usually arrive complete or in 2 stages 🐸🧬🦋

FrevrFuzz pieces always start with a pre-loved base piece of clothing and the process determines how the piece transforms… maybe a stain or logo needs to be removed, some interesting color or texture combinations added.

I began making fuzzies in 2019 when someone gifted me a bunch of old quilt triangles from their basement that had been cut years before. I wanted to make cozy-cool aesthetic filled with fun colors and imaginal worlds. For the first generation, i focused on creating environmental dreamscapes on upcycled crewneck sweatshirts with all found, donated, and thrifted materials and called them FuzzyFriendzFrevr.

At the end of 2023 i decided to graduate this specific mode-of-making and style and invite in the 2nd generation of FuzzyFriendzFrevr. Fuzzies have stretched to include all types of wearable art including crewnecks, tees, hoodies, pants, bags, shoes, jackets, hankerchiefs, and more. Generation 2 of FuzzyFriendzFrevr focused on bright colors, textures, fuzz, and shiny elements — sometimes environmental and architectural, often elemental and abstract.

As the creations and vision grew, FuzzyFriendzFrevr became FreverFuzz in 2024.

The FrevrFuzz custom shop opens seasonally. It’s part of the FrevrFuzz custom process to be available to the magic of unfolding cocreation. in the spirit of collaboration, custom inquiries wanting to engage with the process are preferred to those with overly specific visions. in the custom intake form you share a central vibe, theme, colorway, or idea for your new fuzzup and more about what you’re looking for. I also accept a limited number of commissions that are environment-based such as banners, backdrops, or props.

whatever the process, the finished fuzz becomes a material representation of transformation, love, upcycling, and expressive beautification ~ u, me, these fuzzies, & all their future homes = fuzzyfriendzfrevrrrr 🐳🦄💋👾❤️‍🔥🐸
